Project Overview
Étagère EYSSI was developed as a custom commission to transform a living-room wall into a space that is both functional and visually composed.
Built in plasterboard with integrated niches and indirect lighting, the composition balances storage and object display through a minimal and refined architectural language.
Design Approach
Rather than treating the shelf as an isolated piece of furniture, the design integrates it directly into the wall, allowing furniture and architecture to become part of the same composition.
Integrated niches organize objects at different scales, while indirect lighting adds depth and highlights the displayed pieces.
